Detailed Driving Directions to Breakers Villa
When leaving the airport parking area, after passing through the gate, turn left. You will pass the racetrack on your right and after about ¾ mile, you will come to a traffic light.
Proceed straight through the traffic light on Airport Road East for about 1 ½ miles.
At the next traffic light, turn right onto Queen Mary Highway and proceed through a bower of mahogany trees for about 2 miles to a traffic light.
Proceed straight through this traffic light (you will see a small church on the left hand corner) and continue straight on.
As you approach and before you reach the next traffic light, bear left onto a ramp and turn left onto Northshore Road. You will see yellow-painted open-air markets on your left as you make this turn. (Be sure to yield to traffic entering on your right).
Follow Northshore Road passing the US Post Office and several car dealerships on your right. You will see fields and hills to the left. About a mile later, you will see, as a landmark only, a left hand turn toward Salt River and Columbus Landing. Continue straight/bearing slightly right and up the hill on Northshore Road which will continue to climb and make a series of “S” curves. As you start to slope downward again, you will see a church on the corner on your right.
Proceed straight through this intersection and about 100 yards beyond, take the next left. You will see a small minimart on the right when you make this left turn.
Follow this road all the way to the end (about ¼ mile). You will see views of Buck Island and Christiansted Harbor to your right and pass some plantation ruins on your left.
At the stop sign, turn left and proceed straight ahead to the Judith’s Fancy Gate. You will be required to inform the guard where you are going and that you are renting #74 – The Breakers Villa. The guard will tell you to proceed and YOU will need to push the button to open the gate, so be sure your car is close enough to the gate button. (This mechanism will be obvious.)
After clearing the gate, take your first right onto Jefferson. Stay on Jefferson which will ultimately turn to the left and begin to parallel the beach on your right. On your right, you will pass a series of homes, then a home under construction, then empty beachfront land and then a yellow house with a green roof. Following this home, there is another vacant beachfront space. The Breakers with its turquoise roof is the next house on the right. Each villa is prominently marked with the house number.
